Helping Digital Theatre Customers Help Themselves!
Towards the end of 2011 I was asked to create some video tutorials by Digital Theatre.
The videos were designed to help users understand the basics of the new Digital Theatre Desktop Player, which in turn will hopefully lead to less people needing direct support from the Digital Theatre Team. Instead of writing a script and then animating to the script the animations were made by using the player and then replicating this as animation. A script was then developed and then voiced by Digital Theatre Producer Tom Shaw. All the work was generated from scratch and does not include any filming of using the product. We chose this route to enable the most control of the final videos. It was also decided to break the videos down into 8 chapters.
